Swipefy is our latest adventure in the music world, leveraging the extensive knowledge and experience we've gained from building and growing stats.fm to over 20 million users. Responding to countless requests to enter the music recommendations game, we've created Swipefy: the next big thing in music. With over 150,000 pre-orders in the first week, we reached the #1 App Store spot in almost every country. Built from day one with scalable infrastructure and advanced algorithms, Swipefy offers a truly personalized music discovery experience, far beyond just another wrapper around the Spotify API.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic and passionate team. You’ll be working on Swipefy, our rapidly growing app with nearly 1 million users, as we embark on an exciting revamp of both the mobile and upcoming desktop/web experiences. This freelance, part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is ready to take ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and sexy interfaces for Swipefy (duhh).
• Conduct independent user research and leverage data to inform design decisions (i.e. running AB tests).
• Work closely together with developers, product management and the community in a horizontal team structure.
• Create and maintain design systems and guidelines.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve the design process.
• Proactively help with shaping the product roadmap and strategy, not just the design.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing your professional experience with mobile design.
• Ability to conduct independent, data-driven user research.
• Experience working in a small, agile team.
• Passionate, driven, optimistic, and result-oriented mindset.
• Straight forward communication and collaboration skills.
