Gemairo Group was started after the great success of the ”Gemairo” mobile app among Dutch students. In 2018 our (14-year-old then) founder Sjoerd released Magiscore: a game changing way for students to view their grades. Within days the app rose to the top charts of the app stores and stayed there ever since. After this growth we rebranded the app to ”Gemairo”, inspired by this Dutch meme. Years later the app is still used by over 35% of all Dutch students monthly and over 12% open Gemairo daily.
The real success of Gemairo Group arrived when the next project ”Spotistats” was launched. Within years the platform grew to 12M+ users, 20+ employees and amazing partnerships with investors.
